Day Course: Karma In Action
This day coures will be on Buddha's teachings on Karma. Karma in Sanskrit means "Action" - where all our actions of body speech and mind are causes and all our experiences are the results.
We work very hard in our daily life to create the causes for the things we want, yet they remain elusive to us. On the other hand, the things they we don't want to happen seem to happen effortlessly. Why is this? It is due to our lack of understanding the law of cause and effect. Once we understand this, we will be able to easily create the causes for our future experiences and avoid sowing the seeds for future problems, anxiety, and stress.
The day course will be taught by Western Buddhist monk, Gen Kelsang Drubwang, and will be held at Lamrim Kadampa Buddhist Center. It will be on Saturday March 20th, from 10:00am to 4:30pm, the cost is $25 and includes lunch. Please register by email in advance.
